Explainer: Material setup & finish: Material Setup Both the Max Hold and Refined options use the same premium protective laminate, so the visible finish and protection remain the same across the entire kit. The difference is in the adhesive underneath. The Refined setup uses a less aggressive adhesive on smooth surfaces for an easier installation and a cleaner end result. The Max Hold setup uses full high-tack material across the entire kit for maximum durability in hard off-road conditions. Option Best For Characteristics Refined Adventure / mixed use Easier install, cleaner finish, easier removal Max Hold Aggressive off-road riding Maximum adhesion and durability on all surfaces Material Finish Choose the finish of the protective laminate based on your personal preference: Glossy gives deeper shine, stronger contrast, and more vibrant colors, while Matte creates a more subtle, factory-style look that highlights the lines and shape of the bike.
